Anna-Maria is a versatile performing artist. Her performance focuses on contortion, aerial hoop and dance with an acrobatic flow.
Half Greek, half Bulgarian and raised by an athletic family she discovered her passion for performing arts at a young age. She started with ballet lessons at the age of 5 and soon was involved in more dance styles (modern, jazz, hip-hop, break dance). Her stage appearances began at the age of 15 in shows, theatre, events, commercials etc.
Wanting to experiment more with the arts she moved to Germany in 2012 after she received a scholarship from Stage School Hamburg, a school for professional artists. There she studied dancing, singing and acting for 3 years. Soon after she completed her education she got into the world of contemporary circus where she discovered her natural talent for extreme flexibility. Since then she started creating her own unique style of performance.
Currently based in Berlin, she’s working as a freelance artist. Her flexibility, grace of movement and high expression, creates a unique feeling to the audiences.
